It's been awhile....

It's been a long while since I last posted....I've done a few things here and there but seems like I can never get a chance to use this old computer..someone else is always on it...I won't bore you with too many details but I will share pictures of what I've been doing with my time and my toys...

First up...I did 28 little graduates for the 8th grade bulletin board at work. The pictures are not the best, especially since I was rushing to finish these...for these I used the Cricut Teen Scene Cartridge

Next, these Mickey Mouse banners which I made for my grandson's first bday...

The banners were made using both my Cricut and my Cameo.  All the characters and mouse ears were from the Mickey and Friends cartridge and the letters was a Mickey Mouse font that I downloaded from DaFont.com and cut using the Cameo.  I love that I can download images and fonts to my computer and cut them with the cameo.

Other than those simple projects, I haven't done much. Although I've been itching to do some good old stamping and some cards.....

I am happy to say that I've welcomed a new grandson to the family and need to start some layouts soon before all these grandchildren leave for college....

Well this is all for now.  I'll try to come back with a project soon...

Thanks for stopping by...

8th grade Bulletin Board

Hello my crafty viewers...it's been ages since I've posted anything. Didn't intend on being silent for so long but I've been super busy with work, school and family obligations.  Busy is good I guess but I haven't had time to play with my cricut.

A few weeks ago, I decided to help the 8th grade class at work set up a bulletin board that parents could view as they waited for their turn on parent/teacher night.  The picture is of poor quality because I used my phone but it helps to give you an idea of what the bulletin board looked like.

The students decided to  name it Facebook. I cut the letters using the cricut craftroom basics.  All the fake iPods were cut using the Rock Princess cartridge.  I love the multitude of colors and it looks great hanging in the hallway.  On the iPods they wrote down their favorite song.

Well this is all for now and maybe during the Christmas break I'll have a chance to play around with my poor neglected machine.

Take care and thanks for stopping by!!

Jeanette

Nativity Bulletin Board

Wow, it's been so long since I posted. The time has definitely flown by!  Any way, just stopping by to post a few pics of the bulletin board I decorated @ school.

The characters range between 18 and 23 inches. All cuts from paper dolls cartridge. Sorry for the poor quality...

This board measures about 6ft across....By the time I was done, I had added the little drummer boy, sheep and another camel.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending you crafting wishes,

Jeanette

March Bulletin

Well, here I am again with another bulletin board. Some would say this is all I do but I swear I do use my cricut for other things....
This is my March bulletin bd. and I have to admit it doesn't look as nice as I had envisioned. I think the colors are not consistent, somehow it doesn't look cohesive. But I guess it will have to do. Maybe April's will look better.
I have other projects I've worked on but I haven't posted them. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.
Well, I'm off for now. Planning on reading 'The color of water' recommended by my 13 yr old. Will let you know how it is.

Bulletin board

Yet another bulletin bd. for the office...can't wait for March, I have another one in mind with a St. Patty's twist. I haven't participated in any challenges lately but I've definitely been busy making baby shower favors. Soon as they are completed I'll post a picture.
