BBTB2 - Disney Challenge

I just read over at the Bitten by the Bug 2 [http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/blog] that they are having a Disney Themed Challenge...so I decided to submit some invitations that I did back in August for my daughter's shower

It was a Winnie the Pooh themed shower, even though at the last minute we had to cancel the shower because her contractions started and doctor said baby could come any day.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #52

So the challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut is a card or project that is Birthday related.  They are celebrating their 1st bday.  This is my submission...

It's a layout for my cousin's 3rd bday.  The picture is definitely not a good one but it does look better in the photo album.  I have to work on improving my picture taking skills.  I have to find a place in the house where I can take decent pics. Unfortunately, I don't have a scraproom and have to settle for whatever scrapping place I find at the moment.  Sometimes it's the dining room, sometimes it the living room...just any old place.

I haven't done well with my resolution to scrap every week but I am trying.  I made these favors for my daughter's baby shower.

and this was a quick diaper cake I put together.  

She was at my house practically everyday and it was definitely hard to scrap things for her shower without getting caught by her.

Well, it's late now so I guess I better hit the sack!!

March Bulletin

Well, here I am again with another bulletin board. Some would say this is all I do but I swear I do use my cricut for other things....
This is my March bulletin bd. and I have to admit it doesn't look as nice as I had envisioned. I think the colors are not consistent, somehow it doesn't look cohesive. But I guess it will have to do. Maybe April's will look better.
I have other projects I've worked on but I haven't posted them. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.
Well, I'm off for now. Planning on reading 'The color of water' recommended by my 13 yr old. Will let you know how it is.
