Just stopping by to share some baby shower invites I was asked to do. I made 100 of these. Took me about a week between choosing the design and trying to get supplies together.
You'll notice that not all the papers used were the same...unfortunately, the two Michael's stores that I visited were short on my selections so I had to improvise. The colors used were brown, light blue and basic white card stock.
Here's a close up:
I designed the whole thing on my Silhouette Cameo. I used two different fonts - Apple Chancery and Gabriola with alternating sizes. The center shape is called "Frame" and it was already in my shape library. I think it appeared in my shape library once I registered my Cameo.
The crown is called "princess crown" and I used pop-dots to give it a little definition. The entire card measured about 5x7. I forgot to jot down the measurements.
Here's another close up of just the center piece:
The pictures are definitely not the best since I didn't have my camera and was forced to use my phone.
I'm going to link this up to the
Silhouette Blog Weekly Challenge. The challenge is about using your favorite font on a project. Most of the entries are actual cutouts of fonts but what the heck, I'm still using my favorite fonts, so it kind of meets the requirement.
Thanks for stopping by....I'm hoping to be able to post more often....let's see how that works out.
Sending you crafting wishes,
Jeanette
