Another bulletin board

Well its been awhile since I've posted anything. Not doing a good job at keeping up with my new year resolution. Family obligations keeping me busy. Below is a quick view that I was asked to work on. I work in a catholic school and we're celebrating Catholic Schools Week. My coworkers wanted to use the Evergreen theme, so I cut the letters and created the bible using my fantastic cricut. The cartridges used were Opposites Attract, My Community, Indie Art and Child's Year.
Thanks for looking!!

First challenge

So this year I am determined to use my cricut more often.  I mean I've invested so much into this wonderful machine and somehow I never find the time to use it unless I'm creating favors and invites to a party.

This week's challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is called Snowy Delights.  It's challenge #41 and the goal is to create something with snow. Since I needed to do the bulletin board in my office, I decided this was the perfect opportunity to create something that I could submit for the challenge.  This is what I submitted

This bulletin board is located directly in front of my desk and it's what everyone looks at when they are using the copier.  It's not too fancy, just something simple but I believe it meets the requirements for the challenge.  The picture is not the greatest since I had to use my Android to take it, silly me forgot my camera this morning.

Here's a close up of the snow flake, you can see where the glue is still wet.
And here's one of the penguins

Like I said before it's not spectacular but I am excited since this is my first challenge.
I used 'Joys of the Season' and 'Don Juan'.  The glitter on the flakes is from Martha Stewart.

Taking the plunge....

Here goes....taking the plunge and starting a blog.  My intentions are to keep track of all my cricut  creations, participate in challenges and so forth.
